Passion came from the Latin word, “patior” which means “to suffer”, but nowadays, it is more affiliated to describe what seems to be a personal drive or desire, meaning you are good at something. Basically, passion refers to something you put as a big part of your life and purposely developed or improved on. Perhaps, that is why “passion” and “mission” go hand in hand. Mission life, is of course, a beautiful and exciting life, but it has its own rough roads, especially when our mission is a mission of faith and bringing Christ to hearts of others. This mission is something that would definitely have its own share of pain and difficulty. Still, knowing Christ suffered more for our sake, should move us to put this mission at the very center of our hearts. . Why? Because we cannot allow others “not” to know Him and His transforming love. Our mission is truly a passion, a passion founded by Christ’ call to live a life worthy of heaven.
